What is Applied Sciences?

工学基礎教育分野は、山口大学工学部に属する組織で、専門分野ごとに設定された7つの学科とは別の部署です。私たちは、工学者にとっての基礎科目である数学・物理学・英語の教育を、学科や専攻の枠組みを超えて担当しています。

The Applied Sciences is a division within the Yamaguchi University School of Engineering, existing independently to the seven departments which comprise the school. Our job is teaching the foundational skills of math, physics, and English that are required by all engineers regardless of their majors.
